Oliver (Sample Book Review)

James and The Giant Peach
by Roald Dahl

Written by: Oliver

It is set in a House, at Sea and in New York – the best place ever! James meets a man on the doll hill side. The man is nice and makes lots of magical things happen. Then a big fat, juicy peach grows on a tree near by. Then James flies in it and that’s when the great adventure begins! I would recommend this book because it is full of adventure. Lots of exciting things happen.

    Title: Charlotte's Web
    Author: E.B. White
    Pictures by: Garth Williams

This is a story about a pig, named Wilbur that spent his days in a barn being unhappy as he was lonely. This was changed when he became friends with a spider, named Charlotte. However, he overheard the farmer saying that he wanted to kill him in winter. So, Charlotte decided to try and save Wilbur, which she was successful.
I feel that this story is very heartwarming and I would recommend it to everyone.
